@thereisnoarbiter, some people ride brakes and some don't. brakes can be put onto all bmx bikes. you can have frames with and w/o brake mounts. some people do a lot of tricks that brakes make easier and some people like the clean look of a bike with no brakes on it. i personally don't ride brakes b/c i like the way it looks, i don't really need them b/c i kinda just do the same tricks that don't need brakes, and i'm bad at setting brakes up. sorry for the huge comment. :)

question: do bmx bikes have brakes? it seems like sometimes these guys have brakes and sometimes they don't/ cansomeone explain this to me?
