no music scene? are you stupid. bristols dubstep scene is big an used to be like the heart of the drum n bass scene. most of it isnt mainstream and mostly underground but at least people keep it real to the music they love. what do you know about it anyway?

Bristols a top top musical city.Think Numbskullz one of the freshest UK hip hop acts came from Bristol? Also new boys Appleblim and AllFlaws have pretty sick sounds.Might pop down soon for a rave

1;50. nail on the head. lots of say-ers and very few do-ers in bristol. too many money counters and not enough people creating. capitalistic bores make up 99% of bristol. its nice to see some cultured and talented people talking/performing on this video. Its a shame no one mentioned way out west on the video.

this whole Bristol sound thing annoys me, this trip hop stuff has only ever been one small part of the Bristol music scene. what about the Bristol 'Psyche - punk' movement o the 1980's, (Herb Garden, Claytown Troupe etc), or the Bristol metal scene (Onslaught, Jaguar, Covenant...)? I'm not dissing Trip Hop, but since it came along in the city if you don't sound like Portishead the UK don't wanna know
