Roger Waters had plenty to be angry about. In fact, the guy has spent his whole career being angry. Losing his father at Anzio, however is justifiable anger from his own perspective. For us we can only be thankful for his sacrifice. Waters can't afford to be so generous. Why should one life matter more than any other when millions are dying? Imagine losing your brother or husband or son...this is real today and this song is just as poignant.
