It only took me about 40 years to figure out, Baby's In Black was about Astrid and Stu, after Stu died.

Their coming at 1:37 is amazing, and the crowd when they begin Twist and Shout at 2:20 is amazing, and the girl at 2:45 is amazing, and John at 3:14 is amazing, and Paul, and George, and Ringo. That's the Beatles, they are simply AMAZING. And this concert was probably one of the most crazy of the XXth century.Beatles forever.

Actually, PineTreeAndCone, MDMA was first synthesized in 1912, but was pretty much forgotten about for 65 years. It really didn't leave the lab until the early 70's when it surfaced as a street drug. The Beatles took a lot of acid, but really only started in '65, when George's dentist spiked the Fabs coffee with LSD. If they took pills before the concert, it was probably speed (their early drug of choice), and they may have had a joint or two. I never read anything conecting them to ecstacy.
