If you have the privilege of meeting her at a show sometime, you'll see what a wonderful person she is as well as talented. Very humble, sweet and gracious. A real gem - her parents raised her well. A great ambassador for bluegrass & acoustic roots music.

I appreciate the the info. She is so talented. I would love to meet her one day. I know she has worked hard to achieve her goals and God has blessed her with a great gift.

@plowhand247 The CMT is wrong. I got it from the source (Sierra herself) that she was 11 at this time, in 6th grade. She'd been playing mando for 3 years, since age 8. Also plays guitar. Recorded her first indie CD at age 10 (2002). She's 18 now and even better at both playing and singing, if you can believe it.
