could have had the scene where everyone's aplauding after the meteor is blown up and grace walks up to thurton crying knowing her dad carried out the mission. that's a tear jerker. gets me every time i see the movie. don't take this the wrong way. it's a great video and the music's kickin'.

@pimppimpdoodlydoo The only way to divert an asteroid right now is to use a Thermonuclear bomb which would pretty much desintegrate it there, and if it doesn't, the atmosphere will take care of the rest.Changing the Asteroids course is actually quite possible. As you know, everything has its own gravitational pull. Just make a huge ass space station with no people and move the station close to the asteorid, it will kill the station and leave earth unharmed.
