Always prefer the old grounds to the 'fish bowls' we get everywhere now.Remember being packed into that away terrace 3 or 4 times a few years ago and watching some good wins. Never been to the KC.Up the Iron!

I used to commentate here for the local radio station - I`m pleased with the progress that the club and city has made but it will never have the character of the old ground. Personally I look back to the harsh times with a certain fondness; the diehards were real football fans who had time for each other (I`m sure they still do!) and there was a surprisingly good atmosphere considering it was really a 2 sided ground at the time. My favourtie was watching the South Stand when the players emerged.
