Dating clips such as these can be very difficult, but the buses that appear at 0:36, 0:53, 1:04 and 1:47 appear to be Bristol "B" types, built between 1927 and 1937

Why don't you think it was the 20s? You can barely make out the Wills building but it appears to be only partly built, it was started in 1915.

It looks half filled in. I think the water (the River Frome) went all the way back to the SWEB (showing my age!) building at one point.
